Swanilda is engaged to Franz, but he has his eye on the mysterious girl sitting on the balcony of Dr. Coppélius’s house. Franz doesn’t realize that she is a doll whom the toymaker is trying to bring to life, and when Swanilda and her friends sneak into the Doctor’s workshop, it looks as though he has succeeded. Love triumphs over all in this comedy of mistaken identity, culminating in a joyful celebration of the lovers’ wedding. Coppélia is an enchanting family ballet, perfect for young and old alike.

Featuring thirteen professional company artists, three trainees, and other talented local youth who auditioned for supporting roles, this show runs two hours, including a 20-minute intermission. After each performance, opportunities for photos and meeting the cast will be available in the lobby/auditorium.
