One ticket can change everything

The Reaching for the Stars Cultural Enrichment Program supports the CMU Department of Theatre Arts in its mission to provide a comprehensive education for students, preparing them for the wide range of complex theatrical work available professionally. At the same time, the program helps bring high-quality performances and meaningful cultural opportunities to the broader community. Reaching for the Stars also provides theatre tickets to Grand Valley students, helping bridge the gap in access to high-quality performing arts experiences for low-income families in Mesa County. By removing financial and cultural barriers, the program works to ensure that every child and teen in western Colorado has the opportunity to experience live theatre at CMU at least once before graduating from high school.

Proceeds from Reaching for the Stars events benefit the Reaching for the Stars Endowed Fund, allowing the Department of Theatre Arts to continue producing high-quality productions while giving back to the community through ticket donations to youth.
